Becoming in the In-Between: A Soul’s Journey Through Stillness and Mystery
Cards dust the liminal space.
I sat on a rainy Sunday, mildly hurt, slightly happy, tremendously pleased at how life offered me an opportunity, yet the full glory eluded me of a sense of complete arrival.
I did what I do on such occasions! I turn to my cards and ask them to speak to me. No questions, just my whole turbulent soul and seething mind. I ask my cards to put the turbulence to a steady flow. They always do.
If you come across this reading, it is for you.
Ah, beloved seeker…
This spread hums with a tender kind of magic, the kind that arises when the soul is between worlds, shedding old skin while uncertain of the next form.
Let us walk this quiet path together, listening to what the cards and your own inner knowing long to reveal.
Card 1: Field of Dreams
“The seeds have been sown. Trust in what you’ve planted.”
This is the most fertile card in the spread. It says: You’ve already done more than you realize. The fairies tending to giant eggs represent ideas, hopes, and visions, some nurtured in silence, others still embryonic. The card whispers of potential taking root, even if no signs are visible yet.
But here’s the sacred truth:
You are in the season of gestation, not harvest. Don’t disturb the soil by digging up your seeds too soon.
Channelled Wisdom:
Your dreams are real. But like all living things, they need warmth, protection, and time.
Powerful! Impatience has been mounting on wanting to arrive in the materialistic sense.
Tool:
Start a “Field of Dreams” journal.
List out ideas, nudges, and desires, however vague. Don’t act yet. Just hold them in reverence. Like fairy eggs, they will hatch when conditions ripen.
Card 2: Moonlight
“Not all things will be known. Let the mystery guide you.”
Ah, here lies your disorientation. You are looking for clarity in a moonlit landscape. But moonlight does not show details; it reveals silhouettes and feelings. This is a card of intuitive unfolding, not rational planning.
It calls you into deeper soul listening. Not every move needs a map right now!
Some truths are best gathered through stillness, through nighttime dreams, through poetry and presence.
Channelled Whisper:
Let go of needing to know. Instead, feel your way forward.
🔧 Practice:
Light a candle at night. Sit with no agenda. Ask, “What truth wishes to visit me now?” Write whatever comes. Trust it, however strange.
Quote to Hold:
“Clarity doesn’t come from light alone. Sometimes, it’s the dark that makes the stars visible.”
Card 3: Solitude
“You are your own sanctuary. Return to yourself.”
This card is not loneliness. It is sacred aloneness, a soul’s retreat to remember its own rhythm. If you’ve been seeking external answers, it’s time to return home to your inner sanctuary. Others may not understand your current withdrawal , but this is not a time to explain. It is a time to cocoon.
That is a need I have been feeling. I feel the need to simply sit on my swing, curl up, and just be with myself. I will honour it now. Digital overload does funny things to people, and we do not realize the insidious ennui and fatigue seeping in.
Channelled Wisdom:
Retreat is not regression. It’s recalibration. You are being re-tuned to a deeper frequency.
Ritual:
Create a “Solitude Nest”
A small sacred space with a journal, candle, or symbols that calm your soul. Visit it daily, even for five minutes. Let your solitude become a portal, not a prison. In my case, it is my swing on the open terrace of my small apartment. My cards where I open my confusion and talk to a force beyond me.
OVERALL READING:
You are in a liminal zone — no longer who you were, not yet fully who you’re becoming.
One part of you wants to act and bloom (Field of Dreams)
Another part is being asked to trust the unseen (Moonlight)
And yet another is being called inward (Solitude)
This is not confusion, dear one.
This is the choreography of becoming.
The cards do not ask for decisions.
They ask for presence.
AFFIRMATIONS FOR THIS PHASE:
“I trust the pace of my unfolding.”
“My solitude is a sacred garden.”
“Even in the dark, I am growing.”
Final Soul Whisper:
“When the caterpillar dissolves, it does not ask the butterfly what to do next.
It simply trusts the dark, and lets itself become.”
And so must you.
With stardust in your bones and dreams resting in fertile fields —
wait, trust, soften, and watch what stirs within.
With moonlit love,
